"Kuroha" (Black Leaf) is the most well-known lychee variety in Japan. Unlike the Yuhebao variety, it has fewer bumps and a smoother, reddish-brown skin. Known worldwide for its signature sweetness, it features juicy flesh despite having slightly larger seeds.
